Batches management of the job
Note N.B: To access this window in Opera Job Management: in the Jobs Archive, select the Image:fasicommessa.png button. For the Job Batches archive, see the related chapter.

The Batches management of the job window allows you to create and manage the batches associated with the selected job.

Batches allow the job to be divided into work groups, identifying the typologies, profiles, panes, and elements linked to a specific production or organizational batch.

Contents

Filter fields

  • Keyword: allows you to search for a batch using an identification keyword.

Function buttons

The buttons in the side toolbar allow you to manage the job batches:

  • File:+.png: allows you to insert a new batch.
  • File:-.png: allows you to delete the selected batch.
  • File:modifica.png: allows you to modify the data of the selected batch.
  • File:=.png: allows you to copy the selected batch.
  • : allows you to move the selected batch upward.
  • : allows you to move the selected batch downward.
  • File:Tastofrecciadestra.png: allows you to move or assign elements to the batch, when available.
  • File:Tastofrecciasinistra.png: allows you to remove or move elements back from the batch, when available.
  • File:tastoexcel.png: allows you to display or manage the data in table form.

Main batch data

  • Position: indicates the position of the batch in the list.
  • Name File:tastoc.png: this is the name of the job batch. The names used in this manual are examples.
  • Master batch File:tastomenutendina.png: allows you to link the batch to a main batch, when a hierarchical subdivision is required.
  • Order ref.: allows you to specify an order reference.
  • Batch ref.: allows you to enter a reference for the batch.
  • Profile prefix: shows the identification code that will be assigned to the profiles and panes of the job.

The identification code is used to make it easier, during assembly, to recognize the cuts and panes belonging to a specific job or batch.

  • Barcode ID: indicates the barcode identifier linked to the batch. The auto value indicates that the data is managed automatically by the program.
  • Desc.: this is the description of the job batch.
  • Keyword: allows you to enter a search or classification keyword for the batch.

Color and display

  • Color File:tastomenutendina.png: a color can be assigned to each batch from the associated menu.

File:menucolori.png

  • Print full name: allows the full name to be displayed within job management. If disabled, only the initial letter will be shown.
  • Bars: enables the bar calculation function, including waste, and allows the price to be applied to the typologies of the selected batch.

The selection of this function is indicated by the presence of the symbol on the button shown in the Job management window.

File:OpeconB.png

  • Ground elevation: allows you to indicate the ground elevation referring to the batch. The value is expressed in millimeters.
Note N.B: The Ground elevation field allows you to manage the types of anchors required in multi-floor Window-wall structures. In these typologies, the structure is a single element from floor slab to floor, divided by floors. Wind pressure changes between the different floors, so it is also possible to change the type of anchor according to the floor height. For each height, it is possible to define a VPH variable where the wind pressure of that floor can be defined. In each job batch, a ground elevation and a variable can be defined and assigned to the structure, allowing automatic selection of the correct anchor during printing. If batches are not active, the variables remain at 0; with one active batch, the system assigns the anchor to the structure according to the variable; with several active batches, no output is generated because the values may differ.

Note NOTE:
Filling in the fields described below is useful only as a reminder for the program user.

Dates and notes

  • Enable: indicates that the batch is active.
  • Starting date: batch starting date.
  • Hour: batch starting time.
  • Finishing date: batch ending date.
  • Hour: batch ending time.
  • Notes: field used to enter any notes.

Variabili button

  • File:tastovariabili.png Variabili: opens the window of the variables linked to the job batch. It allows you to manage any specific variables to be used in calculations, conditions, or printouts relating to the selected batch.
Note N.B: For the use of variables, see what is specified for the Ground elevation field.
