Note N.B: To access this box in Opera Job Management: from the Edit Typologies or Worksheet panel, press the button File:tastoquota.png.

In this setting you can determine the dimensions of the type. There are two areas in which you can interact: Window Dimensions at the bottom and Options on the right. Pressing the button between the arrows enables or disables the display of nodes.

Note N.B: To see the dimensions with nodes, it is necessary to create nodes in the archive
.

Typology Dimensions

  • Total Width and Total Height: these are the perimeter dimensions of the type excluding any rebate fins (or window covers). When you set the dimensions of the type, you have to enter the value that you have determined by measuring the space on which the type will be assembled by subtracting the short distance that will naturally have to be between the wall and the frame. However, this short distance can be set directly on the type as the gap value between the frame and the wall so that it is automatically subtracted.

  • Lock height: Is the height of the lock or handle. This value depends on the setting given to the following buttons:
File:Altezzaserratura.pngthe height will be taken from the fixed frame of the structure excluding the rebate fin.
File:Altezzaserratura2.pngthe height will be taken starting from the movable frame of the structure including the rebate fin.
File:Altezzaserratura3.png the height will be taken starting from the movable frame of the structure excluding the rebate fin. In order for the program to change the size of the lock dimension with this setting, it is necessary to set the tubular difference in the profile in the archive.
File:Altezzaserratura4.png the height will be taken starting from the movable frame to the chamber.
File:Altezzaserraturadaterra.png It is the same as the first height, but with the only difference that in the case of compound structures, the height reference can be taken from ground.

These buttons have to be set before assigning the lock height value.

File:Tastoaltezzacentr.png This button is used to center the lock according to the setting of the previous three buttons.

Reference points for sash width.
  • Sash shift: This is the width of each sash in an opening structure. This dimension is required only if the structure has more than one sash.

Considering the sashes of a window, the reference points of the shift dimension of each sash range from the fixed frame chamber of the left side if the view is interior; right if the view is exterior) to the middle of the central node gap, as shown in the side picture. The sash shift value setting is supported by the following buttons.

File:Tastoante.png allows you to automatically get sashes that have the same dimensions while keeping the same gap distance.
File:Tastospec.png allows you to automatically get the same mirrors.
File:Tastolungh.png activates the setting, on multi-sash typologies, of the dimension related to the width of the sashes, allowing to work on every single sash of the structure.
  • Sash width: allows you to force the width of each sash into an opening structure
  • Sash height: allows you to force the height of each sash into an opening structure

  • Roller shutter height: it is the total height of the roller shutter. If it is a roller shutter resulting from a preassembled roller shutter type structure, this value is automatically taken from the height of the Roller Shutter Cap accessory that has been associated to the structure. In this case you will not be required to enter the height value of the roller shutter.
  • Horizontal dimension and vertical dimension: These are respectively the width and height of a structure belonging to a typology formed by several structures.
File:Quotaorizzontale.png
Example of setting a horizontal dimension (width) of a structure belonging to a type formed by two structures.
File:QuoteNodiLargCentroTraverso.PNG

File:Quotaorizzontale2.png
Example of setting a vertical dimension (height) of a structure belonging to a typology formed by two structures.

The setting of these dimensions is supported by the buttons explained below.

File:Quotaverticale.pngIf this button is pressed you can begin to set the structures dimensions starting with the first one on the right, or the first one at the top; useful in the case of types formed by many structures horizontally or vertically connected to each other, such as ribbon types.
File:Quotaverticale2.png If this button is pressed you can begin to set the structures dimensions starting with the first one on the left, or the first one at the bottom; useful in the case of types formed by many structures horizontally or vertically connected to each other, such as ribbon types.
File:Quotaverticale3.png If this button is pressed you can set the dimension of single structures; useful in the case of types formed by many structures horizontally or vertically connected to each other, such as ribbon types.
File:Quotaverticale4.png if this button is pressed you will be able to change the reference points relative to the dimensions, setting the references within the frames as shown in the picture.

  • Clutch position: It is the position of the clutch. Valid only for pivot structures.
File:Tastoaltezzacentr.png The setting of this dimension is supported by this button, which allows the clutch to be centered according to the height of the mobile frame mullions.
  • Hinge position: It is the position of the central hinge. It is required for structures that have more than two hinges.
File:Altezzaserratura.pngIf this button is active the height given to the hinge will be considered starting from the fixed frame of the structure excluding the rebate fin.
File:Altezzaserratura3.png If this button is active the height given to the hinge will be considered starting from the movable frame of the structure excluding the rebate fin.
File:Tastoaltezzacentr.png The setting of this dimension is supported by this button that allows the hinge to be centered.
  • Lower sliding lock dimension and Upper sliding lock dimension: It is the height of the sliding lock. This dimension is requested only if the structure has more than one sash. This value depends on the setting given to the following buttons.
File:Altezzaserratura.png: the height will be considered starting from the fixed frame of the structure excluding the rebate fin.
File:Altezzaserratura2.png: the height will be considered starting from the movable frame of the structure including the rebate fin.
File:Altezzaserratura3.png: the height will be considered starting from the movable frame of the structure excluding the rebate fin.
File:Altezzaserratura4.png: the height will be considered starting from the movable frame to the chamber.
  • Transom height: It is the height of the transom. The setting of these dimensions is supported by the buttons explained below.
Note N.B: These dimensions refer to mullions or transoms set in opening sashes
File:Altezzaserratura.pngthe height will be considered starting from the fixed frame of the structure excluding the rebate fin.
File:Altezzaserratura3.png the height will be considered starting from the movable frame of the structure including the rebate fin.
File:Tastoaltezzacentr.png The setting of this dimension is supported by this button that allows the transom to be centered. These buttons calculate the height of the transom also in combination with the following buttons.
File:Altezzatraverso.png the height will be considered starting from the frame (fixed or movable) of the structure to the beginning of the transom.
File:Altezzatraverso2.png the height will be considered starting from the frame (fixed or movable) of the structure to the center of the transom.
File:Altezzatraverso3.png the height will be considered starting from the frame (fixed or movable) of the structure to the end of the transom.

Options

These buttons are used to change the type to arch, brack, or a round shape, and to make equal the glass or the heights of the central transoms.

  • File:Fuorisquadra.png: allows you to transform the typology into a brack. The side panel will be opened.
  • File:Arco.png: Pressing this button allows you to transform the arch or round shape type. The following picture will be opened, which will be followed by an explanation of its contents.
  • Type: In this field we enter the type of arch or round shap that is to be made. The type can be:
Round arch: in this way the arch radius will be equal to half of the total width of the type.
Low arch: the radius of the arch will be set by the user. Only in this case is it necessary to enter the height of the radius in the appropriate box.
Round shape: with this item we change our type into a round shape, starting with a fixed, an opening or a transom (only possible types).

The user who will use this function should know that before acting on the button, it is necessary to select the structures on which the equal glasses will be set, as shown in the following example.

  • File:Tastotraversiuguali.png: allows you to automatically set the same height of transoms in types made up of several structures. In this case, as well, the identical glasses procedure is applied; the user has to first select the structures to be worked on then press the button.
  • File:Tastoinglesina.png: The function of this button is to set the positioning of muntins if they are entered on a compound structure with different-sized mirrors.

Activation is done by pressing on the button and then in the mirrors affected by the muntins.
