The Filling archive allows you to configure the filling kits used in typologies, defining the system and series they belong to, the application type, glass space, glazing beads, gaskets, and the conditions for automatic selection.
Through this archive it is possible to create complete kits for glass, panels, infill panels, and specific solutions, associating the materials required for the filling and defining the rules by which the program proposes or applies them automatically in the typology management.
Section 0: filter fields
The upper part of the window contains the fields useful for filtering the list of filling kits present in the archive.
- System: allows you to filter the fillings according to the selected system.
- Series: allows you to filter the fillings according to the selected series.
- Type: allows you to filter the fillings according to the application type.
- Min. glass space: allows you to indicate the minimum glass space value to be used as a search criterion.
- Max. glass space: allows you to indicate the maximum glass space value to be used as a search criterion.
- Price list revision: allows you to filter the fillings according to the price list revision.
- Key: allows you to search for fillings using an identification key.
Section 1: list of fillings
The left side of the window contains the list of filling kits stored in the archive.
By selecting an item from the list, the main data of the kit are shown on the right side, while the associated components, such as glass, gaskets, glazing beads, or cavities, are displayed in the lower-left area.
Section 2: archive function buttons
The buttons on the side bar allow you to manage the archive records:
-
Insert: allows you to insert a new filling kit.
-
Delete: allows you to delete the selected filling kit.
-
Modify: allows you to modify the data of the selected filling kit.
-
Copy: allows you to duplicate the selected kit.
-
Print: allows you to print the list or the data relating to the fillings.
-
Catalog: opens the Technical catalog management window, which allows you to insert the catalog page or technical data sheet of the filling kit.
-
Table: allows you to view the data in table form.
- OK: confirms the selection or the operation in progress.
Section 3: main filling data
This section defines the identification data of the filling kit.
- Name: identification code of the filling kit.
- System
: system to which the filling kit is associated.
- Series
: series to which the filling kit is associated.
- Desc.: description of the filling kit.
- Key: search or classification key of the kit.
Section 4: filling type
The Type field allows you to define the application logic of the filling kit.
The drop-down menu contains the following items:
- With glazing bead: select this item if it is a filling that also includes the glazing beads. When this option is selected, the Gb type field is also shown.
- Slide-in: select this item if it is a filling that does not include glazing beads, but must be mounted on slide-in glass typologies.
- Push-in: select this item if it is a filling that does not include glazing beads, but must be mounted on push-in glass typologies.
- Glass: select this item if it is a filling that includes only and exclusively the glass or panel.
- Cover: select this item if it is a filling for a roller shutter box cover.
- Curtain wall: select this item if it is a filling for a curtain wall.
Section 5: glazing bead and glass space parameters
This section allows you to configure the information relating to the glazing bead and the glass space required for the kit.
- Gb type: allows you to display the type of glazing bead used in the kit. The field is shown when the With glazing bead item is selected in the Type field.
- Glass space: allows you to indicate the glass space required for the filling kit.
- Glazing bead group: allows you to display the glazing bead group set in the glazing bead archive.
Section 6: automatic filling selection
This section contains the parameters that regulate the use of the kit in the automatic selection of the glazing bead and the filling.
- Participates in automatic selection: activating this field enables the use of the filling kit in the automatic selection of the glazing bead.
- Automatic search: if activated, it automatically applies the kit once the glass is selected in the filling management.
- Minimum glass thickness: allows you to indicate the minimum glass thickness for the automatic selection of the filling kit.
- Maximum glass thickness: allows you to indicate the maximum glass thickness for the automatic selection of the filling kit.
- Filling variable: field used by the program to assign the value from the Vr variable to be used in the conditions.
- Automatic selection search keys: allows you to indicate the keys used by the program for the automatic search of the kit.
Section 7: cavities and orientation
This section defines the rules relating to cavities and the orientation of the filling.
- Lower cavity from profile: if activated, it imports the lower cavity from the lower profile.
- Upper cavity from profile: if activated, it imports the upper cavity from the upper profile.
- Orientation: allows you to define the orientation of the filling kit (useful for slatted fillings).
Section 8: impossible filling and message
These fields allow you to manage a dedicated configuration for solutions that cannot be produced.
- Impossible filling: allows you to create a specific kit for an impossible solution.
- Message: text of the error message shown when a filling configured as impossible is used.
Section 9: bottom buttons
The lower part of the window contains the buttons for managing the materials and the image associated with the kit.
-
Management: allows the insertion or modification of the materials of the filling, such as glass, gaskets, glazing beads, and other kit components.
-
Icon: allows you to load a standard image for the selected kit. See How to insert an icon.
Section 10: data registration
After entering or modifying the data, use the buttons at the bottom right:
- Register: saves the entered or modified data.
- Cancel: cancels the operation in progress without saving the changes.
