Section 1: Filter fields

File:Chiavi di ricerca3.png

In this section there are the usual search and display filters for items, which allow easier consultation of the items in stock:

  • Type File:tastomenutendina.png: from the associated menu, items can be filtered by Profiles, Accessories, Other, Profile leftovers NO leftovers, Leftovers by ID, Leftovers managed in saw machine, Leftovers managed locally, By ID.
  • System File:tastomenutendina.png: allows you to select the items of a single system.
  • Series File:tastomenutendina.png: allows you to select the items of a single series.
  • Int. color File:tastoc.png: allows you to select items by internal color.
  • Ext. color File:tastoc.png: allows you to select items by external color.
  • Use File:tastomenutendina.png: allows you to select items by use.
  • Key File:tastomenutendina.png: allows you to select the items to which a search key has been matched.
  • StatusFile:tastomenutendina.png: items are filtered according to the order selected from the associated menu (Below minimum stock, Committed, Order).
  • Mov. after / Mov. before: these are filters that select the items registered in inventory within the indicated period.
  • Quantity File:tastomenutendina.png: also in this case, it is possible to display the ordered items based on the parameters selected from the menu. The All parameter displays the materials of the entire stock list without distinction. Quantity>0 lists only the materials whose quantities are greater than zero. Negative shows the materials whose quantities are below zero. Empty shows records without movements.
  • Supplier File:tastoc.png: allows you to select items by supplier.
  • Position key File:tastoc.png: allows you to select the items to which a position prefix has been matched in the physical warehouse.

Section 2: action buttons

  • File:tastopiu.pngFile:tastomeno.pngFile:tastodiverso.pngFile:tastouguale.png: usual buttons for entering, deleting, modifying, and duplicating a record.
  • : pressing this button allows you to print a document containing the items registered in the inventory archive.

The program allows you to choose different document types, which can be selected from the window that opens, as shown in the following image: File:Stampainventario.png

Note N.B: The selection of items for this type of inventory is requested by the program through this window: File:Inventarioacampione.png
  • File:tastoetichette2.png: allows the printing of labels for the items in inventory.
Note N.B: The two buttons will be visible only if your Opera has the Inventory Barcode step enabled.

Section 3 : master data of stock items

Let us now look at the data to be entered in the section dedicated to item master data:

  • Type File:tastomenutendina.png: this is the item type. It can be Profile, Accessory, or Other. The selection is necessary so that the program activates the following fields relating to the data of the material entered.
  • Name File:tastoc.png: this is the item code. When pressed, the program opens the selection window according to the choice made in the previous field.
  • Desc: this is the item description filled in by the program, which retrieves it from the archive when the item is selected.
  • Int. color and Ext. color File:tastoc.png: items that require it must have the color specification.

If the type is Profile, the internal and external colors are required. If it is an accessory, only one field is made available. The associated button gives access to color selection.

  • DimensionFile:tastomenutendina.png: this field allows you to choose from the associated menu the correct dimension type for the loaded item.File:Dimensione.png
Note N.B: The choice of the dimension to assign to the item depends on the item itself and is important for correctly loading the stock.

If a profile is being loaded, its dimension will be length, and its stock will be considered in “pcs”. Opera, in fact, manages profile loading and unloading operations that have “Length” as dimension and “pcs” as unit of measurement.

If a gasket is being loaded, two options are possible: dimension “Pieces” and unit of measurement “pcs”, if the item is purchased in pieces; “Length” and “meters” if it is purchased by the meter. For accessories, therefore, it is important that the dimension is consistent with the unit of measurement.
  • Stock / Committed / Orders in progress / Loaded from list: these are fields pre-filled by the program during inventory movements. Let us look at them in detail:
    • Stock indicates the number of pieces in stock according to the unit of measurement and dimension set.
    • The Committed field shows the quantity of the item already committed. This is a very important function because its correct use prevents materials already assigned to other jobs from being used incorrectly.
    • The already ordered field shows the quantity already ordered. This field is updated by the program according to the registered order lists.
    • The Loaded from list field specifies the quantity that will be loaded from a loading list or from an optimization.
    • Exclude from sample inventory: excludes this item from the sample inventory.
    • Minimum stock: this is the minimum quantity that should always be present in inventory. For example, if you always want to have at least one box of hinges, you must enter the quantity contained in the box.
    • Reorder quantity: this field allows you to set a minimum reorder quantity when restoring stock.
    • Reorder below minimum stock: this field allows you to choose which items must be included in the below-minimum-stock reorder and which must not. This choice works if, in Stock setup, the Selected only type has been enabled in the Below minimum stock condition field. The settings of this field are also highlighted by a symbol: File:SimbolosottoscortaSI.png for the YES choice; File:SimbolosottoscortaNO.png for the NO choice.
  • Pos. (position): this is an insertion position that can be assigned by the operator when loading stock.
  • Id.: allows you to match an identification code to the item.
  • Barcode: a barcode can be matched to profiles to identify the quantity in pcs, in the window that opens by pressing the associated button (for example, a code that identifies one piece or one that identifies 10).
  • Last movement: this field cannot be modified and is automatically updated by the program. It shows the date of the last movement of the item.

Action buttons for a single item

The buttons in the image File:Tastifunzione.png allow you to view the specific actions relating to the selected item and respectively concern:

  • The detail of the stock of items stored in different positions.
  • The window of the documents that record the commitments of the selected item.
  • The window of the documents that record the orders of the selected item.
  • The window of the documents that record the loads of the selected item.
  • The window that allows you to enter the barcodes of the selected item.
  • The button: allows the insertion of an icon for the stock item.

Section 4: function buttons

  • File:tastoarchivio.png: represents a direct link with the archives of the selected items (Profiles and Accessories). The operator can work on it without necessarily leaving the inventory.
  • File:tastototali.png: opens the window for consulting the totals, whose values are displayed divided by type. The totals refer to the items listed.
  • : this button opens the window of all movements present in the inventory.
