This function is used to make backup copies of the Opera archives.
Running backup copies at least once a day is strongly recommended because it prevents permanent data loss (profiles, typologies, jobs, etc.). Data loss may occur due to a sudden power failure of the computer, the accidental presence of a virus program that has irreparably damaged the data, a hard disk failure, or other causes. In the situations just described, without backup copies it would no longer be possible to resume normal work. On the contrary, if backup copies are available, it will simply be necessary to restore them in order to resume work.
