In this chapter we will explain how to create a porthole from a fixed, an opening or a transom (the only possible types).
The management of a porthole is always done through the dimensioning function, that is, by pressing the File:Quotation key.png button found both in the Design Sheet and in the General Data pane of the type.
Oblò fisso
Once we have selected a fixed type and have pressed the File:Quotation key.png button, we click on the File:Adarco.png button and open the Arch Data panel, where we will select porthole through the menu opened with the File:Arrowgiu.png button.
Click in the Arc Data frame and in the Design Sheet the type will be as shown in the figure below.
After changing the porthole measurements in the Type Dimensions field (if it is necessary), click on , exit the Design Sheet with the File:X.png button, and record the type in the archive.

Oblò a vasistas con traverso
Before operating on the structure to create a porthole, it is necessary to add a traverse to the chosen type. To do this we click on the File:Multiply.png button and open the Multiplication Parameters pane, enter a transom and confirm.
The frame will look like the image on the side. Now we need to edit it to transform the lower part so that it is a fixed frame. To do this we click on the File:Edit.png button and in the Design Sheet we click on the profile to be edited; the Structure Definition Framework will open and, in the Structure field, we choose Fixed and register.
At this point we press the File:Quotation key.png button and click on the File:Adarco.png button. This will open the Arch Data panel, where we will select porthole through the menu opened with the File:Arrowgiu.png button.
Back in the Design Sheet, after changing the porthole measurements in the Type Dimensions field (if necessary) the completed structure will appear
