Chamber

This is the encumbrance value measured perpendicular to the thickness, excluding only the wall overlap and glass overlap values.

If it is a fixed frame for sliding system, the chamber value is given by the full height excluding the overlap.

Overlap

This is the length of the wall overlap.

Glass overlap

This is the length of the glass overlap.

Glass overlap thickness

This is the thickness of the glass overlap in the part where the gasket is fitted.

Coupling

This is the height of the tooth that affects end milling.

Note N.B: When calculating the cutting length of a transom or mullion, Opera also considers the end milling operation; for this purpose, the height of the coupling of the profile to which it must be connected is considered.

Depth

This is the profile depth measured on the glass housing side.

Glass clearance

This is the space that must remain between the glass and the profile.

Note N.B: In general, this is the encumbrance value of the setting blocks. This value is considered when calculating the filling dimensions. However, it is important to know that there is a priority order that the program takes into account when checking the glass clearance value: the first value examined is the one set on the filling; if this is 0 (zero), the value set on the glazing bead is examined; if this is also 0 (zero), the value set on the frame profile (fixed or sash) is examined last.

Shape

Shows the shape code.

Note N.B: Three codes are provided: Z, L, T. Correctly setting the shape code can allow the program to understand whether the node being created is suitable for inward or outward openings.

Head angle

Angle formed by the profiles that meet the frame.

Separator

Sets the profile as a separator.

Asymmetric

Sets the profile as asymmetric with respect to the internal and external surfaces. If this setting is used, the profile is also turned during cutting.
