N.B: To access this window in Opera Job Management: from the Archives menu, select the Profiles button, enable the Profile Auto-selection function, and press the bottom button.

This function allows you to create an auto-selection of component profiles through the Options table and the Condition menu.

The window allows you to define which profiles must be automatically loaded as components of the selected profile, setting application rules, conditions, variables, cuts, head operations, and other parameters useful for profile composition.

Components list

The left side of the window contains the list of components associated with the profile.

If no components are registered, the list shows the item None.

By selecting a component from the list, the right side shows the data linked to the selected component.

Function buttons

The buttons in the side toolbar allow you to manage the profile components:

• : allows you to insert a new component.
• : allows you to delete the selected component.
• : allows you to modify the data of the selected component.
• : allows you to copy the selected component.
• : allows you to set or manage the component as default.
• : allows you to display or manage the data in table form.

Section 1: profile master data

Name

Shows the name of the component profile.

Position

Allows you to indicate the position of the component in the list or in the profile composition.

Type

Allows you to define the component type or the application mode of the component profile.

Color rule

Allows you to link a color rule to the component.

Separate finish

If enabled, allows the component to be differentiated according to the selected finish.

Finish

Allows you to indicate the finish to use for the component. The field may be greyed out when separate finish management is not active.

Exclude arch

If enabled, excludes the component in arched typologies.

Do not trim stave

If enabled, prevents trimming of the stave linked to the component.

Panel trimming

If enabled, allows trimming of the panel linked to the component.

Joint side

Allows you to indicate the joint side of the component, when required by the configuration.

Section 2: reinforcements and structure

Specify reinforcements

Allows you to specify the management of reinforcements linked to the component.

Structure type

Allows you to indicate the structure type to which the component must be applied.

Section 3: options, conditions, and variables

The button opens the link to the option selection. This field is associated with the STD and Cond. fields and determines the type of insertion of the component into the structure. In this regard, it is recommended to refer to the paragraph dedicated to the Typology options table.

STD

By enabling this field, the program considers the component loading option as the standard choice. This function is useful when several components must be loaded according to the option type.

Cond.

If this field is active, the program will not request the option in the typology data and will use it only as a condition, automatically.

Condition

In this field it is possible to set the insertion condition of the component. It may be necessary to apply a component only under certain conditions. If the Interval item is set, the program enables the fields for defining the variable and the values relating to the insertion parameters.

Var

Allows you to select the variable to use in the condition.

From / to

Allow you to indicate the minimum and maximum values of the variable interval.

Rounding

Allows you to indicate any rounding to be applied to the values.

Type

Allows you to indicate the type of management or rounding to be applied.

Section 4: component cutting rules

Exclude from cutting

If enabled, excludes the component from cutting management.

Cut assembly

Allows you to use the cutting rules of the compound profile.

Perpendicular diff.

Allows you to indicate a difference to be applied to the component cut.

Axial difference

Allows you to indicate a fixed difference to be applied to the cut.

Left angle

This is the value used to determine the left cutting angle of the component profile when it is different from that of the compound profile. The default value is auto and sets the component cut equal to that of the compound profile.

Right angle

This is the value used to determine the right cutting angle of the component profile when it is different from that of the compound profile. The default value is auto and sets the component cut equal to that of the compound profile.

Compound left

Allows you to indicate the left angle or reference of the compound profile. The auto value indicates that the data is managed automatically by the program.

Compound right

Allows you to indicate the right angle or reference of the compound profile. The auto value indicates that the data is managed automatically by the program.

Formula

Allows you to indicate a specific formula for calculating or managing the component.

Section 5: operations, frequency, and head operations

Exclude Operations

If enabled, excludes the operations from the component.

Frequency

Allows you to manage the frequency linked to the component.

Merge at the edges

Allows you to define whether the component must be merged at the edges, when required.

Offset

Allows you to indicate an offset to be applied to the component.

Conn. bar position

Allows you to indicate the position of the connection bar or component.

Invert component

If enabled, rotates or inverts the component.

Notching position

Allows you to indicate the notching position of the component.

Internal head depth

Allows you to indicate the internal head depth value.

External head depth

Allows you to indicate the external head depth value.

Section 6: the Archive button

• The button opens the Profiles Archive on the selected profile.
