The stock setup window
Note N.B: To access this pane in Opera Job Management: from Inventory menu, press the Stock setup button.

The program proposes a predefined stock setup (see the picture).

Inventory management type

  • Inventory management type File:tastomenutendina.png: allows you to define the type of warehouse management to be used. The available values are:
    • Complete: manage all the articles in the warehouse.
    • Only managed: allows to have in the warehouse only the articles that have been previously inserted in the warehouse, for example by the creation of inventory documents or by an order.
    • Leftover only: allows to manage leftovers only.
    • Complete no panes: manage all the articles, except those uploaded as panes.
  • Filter colors: if active, it allows to insert in the warehouse only the articles for which a price by color has been provided.

Minimum stock management

  • Below minimum stock condition File:tastomenutendina.png: allows to define which condition must be considered for the management of articles below minimum stock. The available setting shown in the example is All.
  • Restore safety stock as soon as possible: allows to restore automatically the stock during the job creation.

Discounts and prices

If the Discounts field is activated and a type of Price is selected, it is possible to set the type of management of the warehouse articles.

  • Discounts: enables the management of discounts for warehouse articles.
  • Price File:tastomenutendina.png: allows to select the price list to be used for warehouse article management.

Leftover management

  • Leftover usage File:tastomenutendina.png: the matched button opens the list of the modalities of how to reuse the leftovers.

The available values are:

  • None: the optimisation doesn’t include leftovers.
  • Standard: the optimisation includes all the useful leftovers available. If from a useful leftover a reusable waste remains, a new leftover ID is assigned to it.
  • Min. Leftover length: optimization includes only those leftovers that don’t leave further reusable waste.
  • Selected only: if enabled, the program uses only the leftovers selected for reuse.
  • Prefix: allows to identify the leftovers with a personalized code.
  • Length as suffix: allows to insert the leftover length in the leftover code (only using Cutting Assistant).
  • Do not ask for reuse in jobs: in the case of leftover management, allows to not show the alert message.
  • No leftover in order: allows to exclude from order potential leftovers considered in the optimisation.

Leftover identification and measurements

  • Min. leftover length: it is the minimum size to which the program will refer to the remainder of a bar as reusable leftover. This box is activated if you choose Standard or Minimum Leftover in the previous field.
  • Leftover length rounding: allows you to save the leftovers using the steps and then merge equal measures.
  • Base step: allows to save the leftovers using steps and then merge equal measures.
  • Min. ID: sets the minimum identification number of the leftovers.
  • Max. ID: sets the maximum identification number of the leftovers.

Attachments and PDF creation

  • File storage for attachments: if enabled, allows file storage for attachments connected to warehouse documents or warehouse management.
  • Create PDF for orders: if enabled, the program creates PDF files for orders.
  • Create PDF for optimizations: if enabled, the program creates PDF files for optimizations.

Printing settings

  • Printer File:tastomenutendina.png: allows to match the printer for printing documents.
  • Format File:tastomenutendina.png: allows to select the print format to be used.

Initialization

  • Initialize: initializes or resets the stock setup according to the default configuration.
