The following example will start from the Design Sheet, and will consider a door to which a fixed fanlight will be applied:

Click on the [[File:Keyinser.png]] button, the program will open the Type Selection panel; select one you are interested in and confirm with [[File:ok.png]].

The mouse pointer will take the shape of a square, place it over one of the upper corners of the structure and click: Now release the mouse button, and drag it upward perpendicular to the opposite corner, the program will draw a yellow line

When you are certain that this line has united at the opposite corner of the structure click again, the following message will appear:

Press [[File:si.png]] and return to the Design Sheet.

Now, you will notice that the inserted profile is not a fixed; to edit it, we select the [[File:edit.png]] button and click on the fanlight; the Structure Definition Chart will open where in the Structure field we will enter Fixed; we confirm with [[File:record.png]].

In the case where a Fixed can be selected in the Type Selection frame, the steps so far described are not needed.
