N.B: by pressing this button ?, located in the Planning Worksheet, you can open the Picture Type Setting pane


This button allows you to set the type view options in the Planning Worksheet and to see, for example, the profile names, the cutting sizes, the component design, the opening direction, etc.

You can now view these options in real time thanks to the new pane showing the type next to the options with the choices you made (available from version 3.8.1).

Content Description

Show: it states the name of the view type. Nine different types are proposed:

Name: by setting this entry the profile and the pane codes will be displayed.

External / internal dimension: by setting one of these entries the profile and the pane cutting values will be displayed. The profile cutting measures will be displayed by considering either the external or the internal bits.

Name + External dimension / Name + Internal dimension: by setting one of these entries the profile and the pane codes will be displayed, followed by the cutting values. The profile cutting measures will be displayed by considering either the external or the internal bits.

Use: by setting this entry the profile uses will be displayed just as they have been set in the profile archive.

Core dimension: by setting this entry the profile and the pane cutting values will be displayed. The profile cutting measures will be considered from a profile core to another.

Name + core dimension: by setting this entry the profile and the pane codes will be displayed, followed by the cutting values. The profile cutting measures will be considered from a profile core to another.

Formula: this entry displays the cutting formula applied to the profile.

Encumbrance/*chamber dimension: this entry displays the cutting dimension of the encumbrance/*chamber within the profile.

Name + Encumbrance/*chamber dimension: this entry displays the cutting dimension of the encumbrance/*chamber within the profile, along with the profile name itself.

Dimension lines: by activating this box the reference lines of the window and door measures (height and length) will be displayed.

Clearances/ *Air spaces: by activating this box the clearances/ *air spaces between profiles will be displayed, if any.

Overlaps/*Stops and notches: by activating this box the overlaps/*stops and the notches of transoms or wainscotings will be displayed, if any.

Opening direction: by activating this box the opening direction of movable frames will be displayed.

However, the opening direction is determined by the presence of a handle or a lock. Consequently, the opening direction will never be displayed if both of these accessories are absent.

Accessories: by activating this box, some type accessories will be displayed such as hinges, handles, drain caps.

Panes: by activating this box the panes assigned to the type will be displayed.

Notching/*Butting: by activating this box you can see possible profile notchings/*buttings or reductions.

Lock dimension

By activating this box the lock or handle positioning measure will be displayed.

MTI dimension: by activating this box the mullion and transom positioning measures will be displayed (even those belonging to the muntin/*grill)

Structure ID: it displays the structure ID in the mirrorings.

Casement type: it displays the casement type in the mirrorings.

Encumbrance/*chamber proportion: this value is the magnification factor of the profile encumbrances/*chambers compared to the type dimension. For example, if this value is 2 encumbrances/*chambers will be displayed twice as large as the type dimension; if it is 1 encumbrances/*chambers will be perfectly proportioned.

Hide rails: if activated it hides the rail indication under the type.

Internal view: by activating this box the type will be displayed in the internal view.

External view: by activating this box the type will be displayed in the external view.

Units of measure: it sets the favorite unit of measure to work with.
