Content Description

  • Warehouse managing type File:frecciagiu.png: when you open the drop-down menu you can choose from:
    • Complete: This parameter sets the management in the usual way, which is already known by users, i.e. Opera handles all the items in the order list.
    • Only managed: The choice of this parameter sets the program for the management of the items registered in the inventory only. In other words, by using this function you can only manage and handle a selection of items. This function is very useful because it avoids registering large quantities of items that should not be managed by the inventory in the program inventory.
    • Leftover only: This parameter sets the management of leftovers only in the inventory.
  • Restore safety stock as soon as possible: by activating this box the program will automatically insert the quantities needed to restore the minimum inventory in the job.
  • Do not ask for reuse in jobs: by activating this box, the program will not include the leftovers in the job.
  • No leftover in order: by activating this box, the program will not include the inventory leftovers in the job to the supplier

  • Leftover usage: when you open the drop-down menu you can choose from:
    • None: the optimization will not include leftovers
    • Standard: the optimization will include all the useful leftovers available (if a reusable scrap is left from a useful leftover this is given a new leftover ID)
    • Min. leftover length: the optimization will include only those off-cuts that do not leave more reusable scrap
  • Min. ID: it indicates the starting number of the off-cut ID saved in the inventory.
  • Max. ID: it indicates the maximum usable number of the off-cut ID saved in the inventory.
  • Min. leftover lenght: it is the minimum measure to which the program will refer in order to consider a bar scrap as a reusable off-cut.
  • Leftover length rounding (available from version 3.8.1): you can set a cutting step of the off-cut length. Whenever the program saves an off-cut, its measure will be rounded according to the step. (Ex: Assuming to have a 20 mm step and a 516 mm off-cut, this will be registered with a length equal to 500 mm in the inventory.) This will also allow to group more off-cuts within the same ID and to reduce the number of codes generated in the inventory. This value can be changed according to your requirements.
  • Create PDF orders: by activating this box all the order documents concerning the inventory will be saved as a PDF.
  • Create PDF optimization: by activating this box all the optimization documents concerning the inventory will be saved as a PDF.
  • Printer File:frecciagiu.png: it allows you to set the default printer for the documents you need to print
  • Format File:frecciagiu.png: it allows you to set the standard paper size (e.g.: A4)
