How to manage warehouse in jobs

Note N.B: To access the framework of manage warehouse in job, select the button File:tastomagazzino.png


From any job window you will be able to open a new dialog allows to view and create either order, reservation and optimization documents of the job. If needed you can also perform item movements.

Note N.B: optimization document, thus leftover creation is performed only if leftover management is enabled in “inventory setup” (leftover use: standard

Contents

Warehouse documents job

All info about item movements is divided in columns for a better overview

  • Name: the name of the item
  • Size: the size of the item
  • Tag ID: it's the part number for the supplier
  • Required (job): Required quantity for the job
  • Unloaded (job): item quantity already processed in the current job
  • Stock: Current quantiry in inventory
  • Pending reservation: item quantity currently reserved in other documents/jobs
  • Pending reservation (job): quantity already reserved for the current job
  • To reserve: quantity that still need to be reserved for the job
  • Pending orders: quantity ordered in other documents/jobs
  • Pending orders (job): quantity already ordered in a document for this job
  • To order: quantity that will be ordered for this job


Types of document

This dialog allows the creation of 3 document types:


Order+Reserve

this creates both supplier order and item reservation documents


Reserve

clicking on the button we can create the reservation document of the material and then execute the order later or manually, or create a single order through the "Safety stock orders" button at the warehouse that will generate an order around the safety stock material and everything committed.


Optimization

this will create optimization document for this job, leftovers will be managed automatically in inventory



Document creation

Each of these three functions is completed and confirmed, using the button File:createdoc.png will create selected document. The list of Inventory documents will be updated with the new ones as in the picture. This dialog allow to view, print and edit any active document using dedicated buttons. Inventory movements linked to the documents can be executed pressing button File:tastomovimenti.png

  • Icon File:simboloimpegno.png is related to Reservation documents
  • Icon File:simboloordine.png is displayed next to Order documents
  • Icon File:simboloottimizzazione.png is used for Optimization documents
  • File:simboloimpegnogrigio.png, File:simboloordinegrigio.png, File:simboloottimizzazionegrigio.png: these icons are shown next to completed documents, which are also hidden and disabled as default

If a document has been already printed, this symbol is displayed next to the item on the list File:tastostampa.png

Management and confirm documents

You can perform movements for each document in inventory using dedicated button File:tastomovimenti.png

Order documents

For order documents, this dialog will pop up


  • Name: the name of the item
  • Size: the size of the item
  • Stock: current item quantity
  • Order: quantitu to order
  • Loaded: quantity already loaded
  • Load: quantity still to load
  • New stock: updated stock quantity
  • Movement position: item position in warehouse


Reservation document

Reservation document will pop up the following window

  • Name: the name of the item
  • Size: the size of the item
  • Stock: current item quantity
  • Reserve: quantity reserverd for the document
  • Unloaded: quantity already unloaded in this job
  • Unload: quantity to be unloaded
  • New stock: updated stock quantity
  • Movement position: item position in warehouse








Optimization document


Optimization document will display the following dialog


  • Name: the name of the item
  • Size: the size of the item
  • Stock: current item quantity
  • Reserve: quantity reserverd for the document
  • Unloaded: quantity already unloaded in this job
  • Unload: quantity to be unloaded
  • New Offcut: quantity to add to the current stock
  • Loaded: quantity already loaded
  • Load: quantity still to load
  • New stock: updated stock quantity
  • Movement position: item position in warehouse



Confirm movements

Clicking on File:confirmmovements.png, will execute inventory movements, updating all stock quantities. Once completed all movements for a document, his icon in the list will be grayed-out

Note N.B: you can also edit movement parameters. Clicking on File:tastomeno.png will disable an item from movement list. You can run movement for the item in a second time

Clicking on File:modifica.png will show a dialog containing all movement details. For example, you can set a different unit value to use for the movement, or change default load/unload quantities.

Furthermore, you can edit the position of the item in warehouse
