How to make inventory

The Inventory Management
Note N.B: To access this window from Opera Job Management: open Inventory menu, then select "Stock items"

This archive is used to save the items in stock. The procedures are different for each item.


Contents

The Profile bar

  • Click on File:tastopiu.png button to add a new item.
  • Choose Type File:tastomenutendina.png Profile, from the drop down list.
  • Set item Name File:tastoc.png picking it up from Profile Selection dialog. Profile description is automatically imported
  • Add internal and external colors using Int.Col/Est. Col fields
  • Dimension is automatically added; profiles use “length” as dimension type, and its quantity is shown in pieces (“pc”). Opera automatically manages loading/unloading operations for profiles having these two types
  • Lenght: in this field we add the leftover length
  • Stock/Reserved/Parts ordered/Loading from list: these fields are automatically updated on every inventory operation on the item
  • Safety stock: if needed, you can set a minimum quantity required in stock for the item

The Leftovers

  • Click on File:tastopiu.png button to add a new item.
  • Choose Type File:tastomenutendina.png Profile, from the drop down list.
  • Set item Name File:tastoc.png picking it up from Profile Selection dialog. Profile description is automatically imported

If you are using leftover in Stock Setup, after saving the item in inventory you will be asked to assign a leftover code to the item


You will be assign a part identification code


The hinge

  • Click on File:tastopiu.png button to add a new item.
  • Choose Type File:tastomenutendina.png Part, from the drop down list.
  • Set item Name File:tastoc.png picking it up from Accessory Selection dialog. Item description is automatically imported
  • Select hinge color from Color selection dialog
  • Size is automatically added; the hinge size is “Pieces” and it's automatically added using the current one from the archive.
  • Stock/Reserved/Parts ordered/Loading from list: these fields are automatically updated on every inventory operation on the item
  • Safety stock: if needed, you can set a minimum quantity required in stock for the item

The corner

  • Click on File:tastopiu.png button to add a new item.
  • Choose Type File:tastomenutendina.png Part, from the drop down list.
  • Set item Name File:tastoc.png picking it up from Accessory Selection dialog. Item description is automatically imported
  • Select corner color from Color selection dialog
  • Size is automatically added; the corner size is “Pieces” and it's automatically added using the current one from the archive.
  • Stock/Reserved/Parts ordered/Loading from list: these fields are automatically updated on every inventory operation on the item
  • Safety stock: if needed, you can set a minimum quantity required in stock for the item

The gasket

  • Click on File:tastopiu.png button to add a new item.
  • Choose Type File:tastomenutendina.png Part, from the drop down list.
  • Set item Name File:tastoc.png picking it up from Accessory Selection dialog. Item description is automatically imported
  • If needed, you can add color from Color selection dialog
  • Size is automatically added; the gasket size is “Lenght” and it's automatically added using the current one from the archive.
  • Stock/Reserved/Parts ordered/Loading from list: these fields are automatically updated on every inventory operation on the item
  • Safety stock: if needed, you can set a minimum quantity required in stock for the item
